Wooden Applicator Sticks Cotton Swabs topped with natural cotton Ideal for dry culture swabs for a variety of everyday medical tasks and applications.
Wood stick shaft. Cotton tip. Cotton is a natural product that contains fatty acids for example oleic acid. These can inhibit the recovery of some bacteria if not used immediately. Sterilisation by irradiation can make this inhibitive effect worse, especially when used in a transport device.Supplied in packs of 100 plain swabs in mini grip bag. 15 cm in length, non sterile
General use and inexpensive swab range.
Not recommended for N. gonorrhoeae or C. trachomatis.
