They may be used in conjunction with a bin (which then forms a package), but if loosely loaded in to the load compartment of a vehicle they comprise \"\"carriage in bulk\"\".\n\nRegulations introduced in 2009 in the UK require UN 3291 type clinical waste to be transported to incineration or alternative treatment centres for processing and disposal in approved bags and containers.\n\nAll plastic waste bags used for this purpose must be sealed, leak proof and tested for solids of packing group II. Contents should not exceed 30KG. Markings must be in accordance with the regulations and provide a visual confirmation that bags have passed the tests for bulk transport as defined in the current RID\/ADR and IMDG code requirements.\n\nThese bags meet ADR 7.3.2.6.2 (c) for carriage in Bulk.
